After endless nights of partying and eating sometimes you just want to slowwww down. That was our Sunday. We wanted to sleep but wanted to enjoy the Spring-like temperatures. So we decided to stroll around a little “borgo” in the mountains yesterday after lunch. No snowshoeing, no waking up early, just hanging out with friends and takin’ it easy!
Our destination was a tiny village with no more than 250 inhabitants called Pontechianale in Val Varaita. It is characteristic for it’s lake and rickety old houses and stone roofs. If you are interested in cross country or alpine skiing this is a great place to go!
Unfortunately on a Sunday there wasn’t much to do so we just went walking and got some pastries and drank some tea!
Your pictures are beautiful…oh, to live, love and eat in Italy!
Thanks! I am just getting started with photography. Actually my husband took these…he is always better. Love your blog too! I just discovered it yesterday! VIVA ITALIA!
